The dye is extracted from cherry blossoms by boiling them, and then the thread is dyed a light pink before being used for theĀ weft. The warp threads are rope-dyed in a combination of natural and synthetic indigo which results in a thread that has the
gorgeous blue tint of natural indigo and yet fades like regular denim. These yarns are also blended with our own homegrownĀ organic cotton, resulting in fantastic texture and good moisture absorption characteristics.
